It is one of the most durable material used to pack various types of goods, including food packaging. It has been designed to replace conventional stretch films with dimensions of 17, 20, 23 and 30 μm.
UTS film allows to effectively protect the cargo during transport (even in difficult conditions when frequent or sudden braking occurs), ensure storage security, protection against shifting or moving the load on pallet, and is also suitable for food packaging.
The innovative structure based on special grades of polymers is obtained using modern technology. It ensures better quality and durability of the film, which allows to significantly reduce the consumption of film needed to package the product on the pallet and the packaging costs.
The UTS film is not obtained by pre-stretching. Its thickness and characteristics are the result of innovative raw materials and high end technology during production.
UTS films makes the process of packaging much easier and faster, while the high puncture and tearing resistance puts it in the top of the packaging solutions available on the market
By using UTS films you can save up to even 450 grams per pallet, which, when multiplied by the number of pallets wrapped per year, gives fantastic savings.
The use of UTS film is environmentally friendly. Due to its physico-mechanical properties, any waste resulting from its application and material consumption is reduced to a minimum.
Low elongation can provide extreme holding force of the load: after the initial stretching of the film during the wrapping of the load on the pallet, the film tends to return to the original condition/form, making the load strongly attached to the pallet and prevents the goods from shifting or moving along the space of the pallet.
Technical Data SheetStandard stretch film 17 μm
UTS 8 μm
Improved puncture resistance and retention force along with lower elongation allow the UTS film to provide safer, faster and more cost efficent packaging.
RS 17 vs UTS 8
A much better retention force is achieved with a smaller stretching percentage. The best usable moment of the UTS film is 40% stretch versus 120% stretch of the RS film.
